Oconee
Conservatory of Fine Arts Student
Contract
I
understand that I will not be registered until tuition
fees are paid. I
understand and agree to the following policies: ·
All lessons, classes, or workshops must be paid for whether
or not the student attends them, as the teacher must be paid for
his/her time. ·
The Conservatory does not require any teacher to make up
student absences and no refund will be issued. ·
During inclement weather, all lessons and classes each day
will be decided by the teacher and the Conservatory, NOT according
to public school closings. Bad
weather policy is for the student to contact the Conservatory or the
teacher about scheduled lessons and classes. ·
Conservatory breaks are NOT necessarily scheduled according
to public school breaks. Check
the Conservatory Calendar. ·
Any lessons, classes, or workshops missed by a teacher or
missed due to bad weather will be made up at a time mutually
convenient to the teacher and student. ·
Students should notify the teacher at least 24 HOURS IN
ADVANCE if they must miss a lesson for any reason. ·
Two (2) consecutive absences from regularly scheduled
lessons, ensembles are grounds for removing the student from group
class rolls. Frequent
tardiness, demonstrated lack of interest, and behavioral problems
will be grounds for dismissal. ·
Smoking, Alcohol, Weapons and Drugs (except those prescribed
to the user by a physician) will not be allowed on Oconee
Conservatory of Fine Arts property. I
understand that taking lessons at the Oconee Conservatory of Fine
Arts requires commitment to practice regularly and to be on time and
fully prepared for lessons. I
have read the above contract and understand the conditions outlined
in this agreement.
